If you’re having a civil/secular (non religious) ceremony for your wedding, then you’re pretty lucky in that you can get married wherever you please – as long as the council approves!
Mandurah Council have a wedding page with a link to an application form as well as information about the more popular spots. Always a good idea to give them a call and find out all the information you can about your chosen location.
Here is a great web page – Perth Wedding Locations with all the local council numbers and web addresses in and around Perth.
If a ‘venue’ is more your style where they look after your reception (and ceremony too, if you want), then here are some of my favourites.
Marco Polo Drive, Mandurah
The staff at The Sebel are friendly and efficient and always help to make your event and your stay one to remember. A fabulous central location overlooking Mandjar Bay and across to the Mandurah town centre. You are also a small step and a hop to the big fig tree at Stingray Point which is a great spot for photos and you might even see a dolphin or two frolicking right there.

There is a beautiful backdrop of boats, water and dolphins in the Mandurah Marina and you can easily pop over to the beach for some photos after your ceremony on the marina lawn. They offer two function rooms – the Galley Restaurant and the Dolphin View Room which is for a more intimate group.
Ask to speak to the lovely Functions Co-ordinator, Chanelle Kildea who will walk you through everything you need to know.

This beautiful, rustic wedding venue run by a lovely husband and wife duo, Michelle & Paul. It is a great space with a ‘wedding circle’ surrounded by garden and a permanent arbor. The reception can be held in the ‘chorale’ and the attached rustically decorated 3 sided barn. They have a bar and a cool room for your use and plenty of room for you to organise your own food trucks. There are animals on the farm, so great if you’re having a family “kid friendly” affair and if you want to party on then stay the night, there is a brand new 2 bedroom cabin that’s up for grabs.

Mandurah Quays Resort have a number of ceremony locations – out near the water, or closer to the building under the tree (see photo) or you can have your ceremony inside – it’s good to have options!
